City of Fernley’s Planning Commission is comprised of seven regular members and one alternate that votes in the absence of any of the other members and takes part in all proceedings. Among themselves, the Commission elects a Chair and Vice-Chair annually. Members are appointed by the Mayor of Fernley and confirmed by City Council.
