In this workshop hosted by Sierra Shadows Lavender Farm, join artist Ashley Mavon as she shares the art of indigo dying, a process she studied in Japan.

All experience levels welcome and all materials are provided! No previous dye or textile background necessary. This is an introduction to Indigo – the plant, the dye and the process! You will also explore dying with marigolds from the farm- creating a yellow color.

Make sure to show up wearing clothes and shoes that you wouldn’t mind getting some splashes of blue on! Sorry, this workshop is for ages 16 and up.
